Friday I got up at 4.30 and like me was still doing the old rush
round making it onto the coach at 6.50 the jounry down wasn't so bad although
I had not slept much. I met up with Kyla and we dropped our bags at the
hotel and made it to center MK for about 10.00. We went round and got some
tickets for Billy Dee and Nicholas Brendon. After an while the tickets for
Billy Dee came up and Kyla and I went up to say hi he was an very quite
man and Kyla was so nerous that she dare not speak. More walking about Patsie
turned up about 12 and then Claire at about 2. We went to see if we could
go and see Nicholas but after much thought decided no with an no pose sign
and auto's at £20 we wanted to wait till the next day.
I went to see Thomas after he had his lunch. I will have to tell you I was
an little worried what he would think of some mad girl who runs an web site
about him. Ok I'm not mad but some people think I am. I had thought of the
idea to make an t-shirt with the website design I of course I left it till
the last might. I burnt the first one so ended up having to put it on an
really strange white top I just don't do white. So I walk up to see Thomas
he see's my top and goes ah the site and then think for an mintue and says
so you must be Catherine it was true relief that he in fact remembered my
name. I had an little conversation with him where he told me an bit of information
about what he had been up to.
We set off and got to the hotel about 5 when then went for an cheap dinner
which to be honest was not that nice. Then off for an early night.
I was dressed as Deagol today and although Kyla had spent some time doing
the ears for me you just could not see them from under my hat.
We got to center mk at 7am we were very that we were one of the first 10
to see Carrie Fisher. To be honest I think she was an bitch. She was rude
and didn't want to pose for any pictures. Waste of money really got an pic
with her see below but drugs have not done her good.
We then met up with Sara and Lynda Then we went and got some other tickets for Nicholas. We did not end up going to see him after all that. I went to see Thomas in the afternoon and I dressed in my Deagol outfit. I was very happy to see that his face light up he came and posed for pictures and I promised to email him an picture.I also had him sign my Forgotten Silver DVD cover which it seemed by the way he looked at it he had yet to see that version of it. We had already had Sarah Mcleod sign it who was also in the film and plays Rosie Cotton in Lord of the Rings. When I chatted with Thomas he told me that he had told Andy about my website and that he thought that he had been to see it. I hope he has and enjoyed it as much as I do making it.
Then after an bit more of an walk around we went for an meal at pizza hut
and then to get ready
I don't know how to talk about the party it was that crap costume comp went
up shit creek like normal I thought the stage would make it better but they
made no use of it. If it wasn't for common rotation I would have asked for
my money back. The VIP room was an joke cold pizza and crisps they ran out
of drinks closed the bar and I saw 2 vip's Royd and Sala there some of the
harry potter kids uppstairs. I saw Thomas from afar just before I left he
seemed busy talking so I did not go up.
woke up pretty early as everyone wanted to go see Nicholas for once I wasn't
really running about to see anyone I really wanted to see the twins but
I knew I didn't have to get there mega early to see them. Patsie raced off
to see Billy and Everyone else raced to see Nicholas I read mainly. I was
in the reading mood.
Met with with the other Claire and [info]kiraelf which was really nice.
I always try and drag her to events. She came to C4 and although she normally
just goes home with an auto for her husband she seems to enjoy it. This
time she got mini me's auto. After lunch we went and saw the twins who were
just as sexy as before I had an little chat with James I think it is for
some reason I like Oliver more I think he has nicer hair. I could be wrong
about the names though. The meeting was an little marged by the fact an
dealer came in to get there auto's while I was there from behind the. It
was nice to chat to James though and I took an pic of them and had an pic
with them as well.
I went up and said goodbye to Thomas.
I haven't had the pics for that day devepoled yet as I only just finished
the roll should get them for thursday I hope. I of course slept in Jane's
car all the way home. I hope I didn't snore again.
